A suspected police officer with his friend remained stuck on counter grills of an M-Pesa shop in Nairobi after attempting to steal cash from the attendant. A video shared widely on social media shows the two men screaming in anguish as shoppers looked on from a distance. They were armed with AK 47 fully loaded and ready to kill anyone who attempted to stop them from robbing.

The two men then went into an M-Pesa shop, brandished a huge gun to scare the girl who was working there and; shortly started demanding any remaining coin from the sales. “Leta pesa. Iko wapi? Toa yote ama tukuuwe,” they threatened the little girl as they emptied the drawers one after another However, their drama was cut short when they were leaving. They remained stuck on the grills at the counter of the shop.
