It's now apparent that religious leaders in Africa are riskier than traditional doctor; if the recent Shakahola Forest massacre is anything to go by.
Shocking that Pastor Paul Mackenzie who has been running a church in Kilifi County for about six years was reportedly participating in the killing of his innocent flock.
Shock not only Kenya but the whole world after it was confirmed that he has been running a cultchurch for a long time in Malindi Kenya.
Those who paid him a visit for help would quickly be converted through brainwashing never to leave his compound again. They were forced to fast long days until they drop dry. He was happy doing this to the hundreds of them.
Both women and men from around Africa flocked his church with hopes that after fasting, they would be the first to meet Jesus Christ in the skies. All false hope! Himself was never fasting. He never fasted even one day. Instead, he cheated his brainwashed followers that God had directed him to be the last to fast. People who are young to old fasted to their death.
So far, over 105 bodies have since been retrieved from Shakahola Forest where his church was located. And reading that worrying story, now do you think every pastor is genuine? Are they? This is the reason why most Kenyans have started moving to traditional doctor and spellcasters. They are safer! Traditional medicine men are safe to use.
"I have been a frequent visitor to my traditional doctor Ngoso now my second year. I have never seen him force clients to die. "He healed my wife from dry cough and helped my son to get a good job. This is true story," Jackson Mutheu from Meru wrote on his Facebook last week.
Others like 27-year-old Marriam from Voi also lauded the doctor and said she got a promotion on job after she sought good luck help from the African medicine man who also gives prayers to clients. "Apart from healing using African means, he also holds prayers," she confirmed.
For those who have read this true story and believe that African doctor have become of much use than cult leaders like Mackenzie should consider visiting the doctor.
